Tea Party May 15, 2010

My favorite fun thing to do is to design invitations and party favors for my customers.  Cory came to me and asked if I could design something fun for her daughter, Chloe, who wanted to have a fancy, girly tea party.  Here’s what I came up with for her:

Isn’t it so cute???  I patterned it after a great invite from a fancy stationery company that my stampin’ friend, Beth, showed me and I just fell in love with.  Now, being resourceful, I used my cricut and made the teapot and the insert.  The teabag tag is a stamp from CTMH and then I used coordinating papers for placecards and thank you notes.  I just think it is darling for the girls and I know they had a great time!

Hope you are enjoying this weekend!  Thanks again for checking in with me!

Scrap Box May 14, 2010

Here’s something  a bit different today.  I want to share a scrapbook memory box I made for my good friend, Colleen, for her birthday 🙂 – miss ya, lady!  We often got together to scrap and chat and I wanted to make her something to remember me by while she scraps now that I am in CA.  It is a 13″ by 13″ box that is ready for storage, but I thought it needed some perking up!

Enjoy this weekend – I hope to be in my craft room working for a bit so I’ll have more to show next week!

Hey out there!  I feel funny in how to address the note when I am writing to you, since I know I have people all over that are following…  weird!

I have had a few friends having babies lately… here’s one in the string of cards I did with my little giraffe friend.  I stamped a whole bunch and colored while I was on vacation in Monterey, then came home and assembled into the cards.  This one I did for a baby boy.

I hope you like the blog and are having fun seeing what is going on in my workshop!  Thanks for the comments and support!

Talk to you soon,

kate
