The Scrapbook

My friend, Colleen, recently adopted a baby girl from China and was gracious enough to share the experience with everyone via the wonderful internet.  How great it was to be able to ‘see’ the baby ahead of time and then to journey with them through this beautifully mysterious land.   They had so many adventures and it was a thrill to be a part of the process. 

I had a hard time figuring out what to give them as a baby gift  –  I mean, they hardly need another toy, clothes or book.  They had all the equipment you need, and so I had to really rack my brain….After much thought, I decided as a gift to the family, and Teagan, I would create a scrapbook for her.  It really is meant for a starting point, as I love to scrap with Colleen but think that now that she has 4 little cherubs to take care of, scrapping time will be seriously limited!

Here are the first page of the album – and then the last page I made.  These are sometimes the hard pages to come up with something for – I fell in love with the quote and had to include it on the book.  It was made with much love and I hope to meet her sometime soon!
