Fancy Trees July 9, 2010

Filed under: Christmas — anotherkatecreation @ 5:00 am

So….what do you think about the Christmas in July stuff?  I LOVE the holidays and wish it could last longer so it makes me happy to be able to work on things throughout the year that has such happy meaning.

Some people are fun, humorous Christmas people, some are serious and religious, some are fancy and frilly, and some are country and primitive.  What’s your style?

These cards were inspired by the beauty of the embossed image and I couldn’t ait to get it and play!  Then I had to add some shimmer with the rhinestones and make it pop.  So fancy, but elegant in a special way.  I have a set of 5 for each ready to go.

Supplies Used:
cardstock – red, dark green (DCWV); deckle edge card
paper –
ink –
coloring –
accents – ribbon, rhinestones
adhesive – ATG, glue dots
tools – Cuttlebug Lacy Tree folder and embossing machine (ProvoCraft)
finished card size – 5″ x 7″
